| Hidden
in the bush between Ikom and Obudu, the Mbe
Mountain National Park consists of a breathtaking
expanse of cloud-drenched mountain forest, home to
a number of rare primates.
Wildlife
Gorillas, chimpanzees, duikers, mountain foxes and
porcupines.
Accommodation
There are no facilities at the park and a trek
along its trails sees trekkers crawling through
thickets, forging streams, and grabbing at
branches as they slip on mossy boulders.
Access
A less frequented means of entering is via the
village of Buanchor, further north on the road to
Obudu.
